Filme de surf terá inéditas de Jack Johnson e Eddie Vedder

O documentário de surf "A Brokedown Melody", dirigido por Chris Malloy, contará com dois grandes apoios em sua trilha sonora. Jack Jonhson e o líder do Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder, disponibilizaram composições inéditas para o filme, que já foi lançado em DVD.

A produção traz cenas com Kelly Slater, Mark Cunningham, Gerry Lopez, Rob Machado e também de Johnson, amigo de longa data de Malloy, os dois dirigiram outro documentário de surf, "Thicker Than Water" (2000). Johnson tentou carreira como surfista, mas desistiu após um acidente. O cantor, porém, ainda pega ondas como hobby.

Entre as faixas confirmadas para a trilha sonora estão "Home" e "Sung", de Johnson (que também fez uma versão acústica de "Breakdown" para o CD), e "Goodbye", que Vedder mostrou em um show solo no ano de 2002.

O disco terá ainda músicas de bandas como o Kings Of Convenience e Beta Band. O lançamento está previsto para ocorrer dia 14 de novembro pelo selo do cantor havaiano, o Brushfire.
